LPG VALVE SAVER ADDITIV
V-LUBE LPG VALVE SAVER is a further development of the additives for valve protection currently available on the market.

Other than conventional lead substitute additives with their broad range of applications, V-LUBE LPG VALVE SAVER has been particularly designed for the needs of LPG-powered vehicles.

Other than petrol-powered engines, the so-called liquefied petroleum is being fed to the combustion chamber mostly in a “dry” state, which prevents the additives normally brought along with the petrol from developing their protective workings. Eventually, this leads to a wear of the valves and valve seats.

V-LUBE LPG VALVE SAVER lubricates and cools the cylinder and builds a protective film around the parts to minimize the stress and wear of valves and valve seats.

V-LUBE LPG VALVE SAVER is therefore perfect for meeting the specific problems associated with the operation with natural or liquefied gas, thereby providing the best protection for reasonable costs.

The additive is being fed to the engine via a dosage system (lubrication kit) at a ratio of 1:1000 (10ml for every 10 litre of fuel). One litre of V-LUBE LPG VALVE SAVER protects the engine, depending on the vehicle-specific fuel consumption, for as many as up to 10,000 kilometres!

How does the Valve Protector work?

The system is made up of one tank for the additive and one additive injection pump controlled by an programmable electronic controller.
The gas valve timing is used to calculate the required volume of the additive. This allows for a consumption-based dosage of the additive.

General

We offer these systems in a number of variations of complete installation kits ready to be built in. Their compact dimensions make every installation or retrofitting an easy undertaking. The installation kit includes the following items:

Dosage module with connection plug, cable loom with connector, additive tank, additive PA hose, signal LED, points or nozzle, fixing material.
All PA hose connections are designed as plug-in connector, making the connecting quick and fast.

Software

The correct dosing quantity is adjusted to the specific requirements of the vehicle by simply using a notebook and the free software programme. As fort he V-LUBE Edition, all viscosity parameter are already preset.

The software also comes with a vehicle database, which stores the different specifications for every vehicle in order to provide quick access to those of your car.

INDEPENDENTLY CONFIRMED EFFECTIVENESS
The active agent of the V-LUBE LPG VS additive reliably saves Otto engines from valve seat wear during the combustion of LPG.

This outstanding feature of the active agent of the V-LUBE LPG VS additive has now been confirmed by an independent study conducted at the Laboratory for Combustion Engines at the Engineering Department of the University of Applied Science (HTW) of Saarland.

“The major wear is due to pitting caused by micro welding“, the study concludes.

Professor Thomas Heinze and MBAE (Dipl. Wirt.- Ing) Volker Witte further observed:
“The tendency to weld depends on the kinds of materials used for both valve and valve seat and constitutes a function corresponding to the exhaust gas temperature and point pressure. The number of revolutions shows no progressive effect on the wear of valves"
